What Is Prime For Life®?

Prime For Life® is a program that helps people learn how to reduce their risk of alcohol and drug related problems throughout life. Prime For Life® is an effective research-based alcohol and drug education program for families, communities and employers. Prime For Life® is a 6-20 hour education program for adults and youth that focuses on alcohol and drug prevention and intervention. Thousands of people throughout the United States attend Prime For Life® through their employers, schools, welfare-to-work programs, and places of worship.

Why should I want to use Prime For Life®?

Great question! Most people feel they have enough information and self-control to handle alcohol and drugs with no problems. This is understandable given that most people who drink do not experience problems or develop dependence on alcohol. Based on research, Prime For Life® provides answers to questions people have about alcohol and drugs. For those of us responsible for family members, employees, or organizations, knowing what to say about alcohol and drugs—and knowing how to say it—may be life saving for someone!

What benefits does Prime For Life® offer?

PRIME For Life is used primarily among court-referred impaired driving offenders. However, it is also adapted for use with military personnel, college students, middle and high school students, and parents. Dr. Masani is certificated to teach PFL classes in jails, schools, businesses and churches and she supports the following benefits:

:
